GOLF COURSES OF LOS CABOS

Golf is a major activity in Los Cabos, no surprise here, since there are now a total of four 18 hole championship courses with panoramic vistas of the desert and Sea of Cortez. The four most popular courses are Palmilla (Nicklaus design), Cabo Real (Robert Trent Jones II design), Cabo Del Sol (Nicklaus design) and the Cabo San Lucas Country Club (Dye designed) and last but not least, the San Jose Del Cabo golf course (Joe Finger design) a beautiful 9 hole course.

Cabo San Lucas Country Club:
This is the only golf course in Cabo San Lucas proper. This is an 18 hole course designed by the Dye Corporation. Initially this is a less intimidating course than the others. Beginners may find themselves playing in the arroyos quite a lot. 1.5 miles of beach frontage has been used for holes 5, 6, 7, 8, 16, 17, and 18. As Nicklaus has said, Cabo del Sol has three of the best ocean finishing holes in the world!
