Welcome to 1000 Steps Beach. This beach is one of the largest beaches in South Laguna Beach.It’s a big sandy beach that offers space for different activities such as Sunbathing, Scuba Diving, Volleyball, Skimboarding, Snorkeling, Surfing, Beach Walking. At the south end there is a large cave that you can enter when the tide is low .. This cave is actually a tunnel so you can walk inside that tunnel to a very small rocky cove on the other side.

If you plan to visit Thousand Steps Beach, go ahead to 9th Avenue and Coast Highway and park in a legal spot. Laguna Police will give you a ticket if you make a parking mistake. Across from 9th Ave is the beach access entrance which leads to a long stairway. Even though the beach is called 1000 steps beach there is actually only around 220 steps to go. But hey, all it matters is that you will have a great time.
