Things to do in Frank Brown Park, Panama City Beach

These are often open for recreational activities although there are many organized leagues who take advantage of these beautiful sites. Frank Brown Park also hosts important local, regional and national events such as USFA Fastpitch Softball, grand Slam Baseball and the World Softball League.

Many local citizens attend these events but often time, people will travel from hundreds of miles away in order to attend. If you are one of those travelers in town to view an event taking place, there are many hotels in close proximity to the park that can be booked for a low cost.

For the convenience of everyone, there are large locker rooms with heated showers and a concession stand in case you get hungry or thirsty while you’re there. Relaxation as a Couple

Although many of the activities are perfect for families and children, there are also relaxing and fun activities for adults to enjoy by themselves. A long, quiet stroll through the miles of greenways and trails would be the perfect way to spend a first date or a new couple. And within the two-hundred acre park, there is bound to be a secluded area to have a nice picnic and some alone time.

It may also be a fun date idea as a couple to take one of your dogs or all of them to the large dog park within Frank Brown Park. There are always dogs running around and playing together and it would be a nice breath of fresh air for all of you to spend some time there and maybe even play with the other animals.

Family Events

Along with the many picnic spots, there is also a large group picnic pavilion. Since there are often many events going on, it’s smart to call ahead to schedule a date and time to host an event such as weddings, birthdays, family reunions or any other special events. The pavilion seats approximately 60 people and features a charcoal grill beside it. There are multiple slots available to rent the pavilion including 10am-2pm, 3pm-7pm or all day between the hours of 10am-7pm. The four hour slots costs $50 and the all-day slot is $100.
